Munchkins Day Out – Arts Enrichment Program (Boys & Girls Ages 3 -5)
Trying to decide between several different Mother's Day Out Programs in the Lake Area? Most mother's day out programs are pretty similar... until now!
Munchkins Day Out - Arts Enrichment Program combines drama, visual arts, music, dance, fitness, story telling, cultural arts, language arts, and performing arts all in one program!
Munchkins Day Out’s unique and original curriculum provides children with a canvas to expand their imagination, talent, and sense of self. Our artistically enriching program takes a holistic approach, our main focus being to add to the creative & social enrichment of each child.
Munchkins Day Out – Arts Enrichment is a school year program running September-May offering classes twice a week from 9am-12pm, and summer programs in June, July, and August.
Children will learn, but not limited to:

Various art forms such as clay, paint, pastels, stamping, collage, crafts, color, drawing, cutting, mosaics, and much more.

Theater arts such as improvisation, story telling, performance styles, voice work, costumes, props, stage make-up, and much more.

Music, singing, experimenting with age appropriate instrument will spark their imagination.

Dance styles such as jazz, tap, ballet, and hip hop.

Physical Fitness such as exploring movement, tumbling, stretching, coordination, and balance.
Every child loves to show off their hard work!
Children will have the opportunity to participate in two PERFORMANCE SHOWCASES and several ART EXHIBITS throughout the year sharing what they’ve learned with family and friends!
Visiting artists will present mini-workshops and presentations throughout the year!
Including Musicians, Dancers, Visual Artists, Actors, Theatrical Make-Up Artists, and More!!!

Dress Code
Dress to Mess! Please dress your children in comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting messy, as our art experiences are frequently messy. Smocks will be provided. Girls will need pink ballet shoes and tan tap shoes. Boys will need black ballet shoes and black tap shoes.
Holidays
We will follow the same schedule as the Calcasieu Parish School Board. When they are off of school, we will be off of dancing.

All students must be potty trained.

Child drop off is from 8:45am to 9am. Child pick up is from 12noon to 12:15pm.

Healthy fun mid morning snacks will be provided.

Please notify Munchkins & Mommies in writing if you intend to have another adult pick up your child at the end of class.

We do require written notice 30 days prior to dis-enrolling your child in Munchkins & Mommies so that we may fill your child's spot in the program, thank you for your understanding.

Munchkins & Mommies this is not a daycare or childcare center. We are an arts enrichment program.

Yearly Program Tuition and Fees (Sept - May)
Monthly Tuition for 2 Days Per Week
$240 $180 (Introductory Special - Limited time offer)
Yearly Program Registration Fees
There will be a $120 registration fee due once your child is accepted into our Munchkins Day Out Program.
There is a costume fee: TBA.

Tuition will be charged by one of these options:
1) Pre-authorized debit from your bank account
2) Automatic credit card charge
Tuition is due on the 1st of the month and will be considered late on the 10th of every month. There is a $15.00 late fee for all late tuition. Invoices are sent ONLY to delinquent accounts with the late charge already added.
Registration fees, costume fees, tuition fees, and any incidental fees, are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.
However, if you are not satisfied with your child's class let us know in writing within 30 days after their first class and we WILL gladly refund your money. Please note that the refund will be for tuition fees only.
Tuition will be charged monthly whether a student is present or not. There will be no refunds or credits for missed classes.
Yearly tuition is an averaged amount each month. It does not fluctuate depending on the number of classes in per month. It is based off a yearly rate and then split into NINE even monthly payments (Sept. – May) for your convenience.
